Again and again in his speeches honorable chief justice Mr. Y.K. Sabharwal has emphasized that the aim of justice is to protect human interests and provide them social as well as economic justice. He is steadfastly in favour of human rights. He is concerned about keeping human face of law always alive. (Read his speeches).

I support his approach and I think government will be careful that no injustice is done to millions or traders or professionals by snatching their livelihoods in Delhi and other parts of the country. Every law should be made by the government honoring the common man and his constitutional rights. Snatching the livelihoods of law-abiding citizens may send a very negative and dangerous signal to the common people.

Mindless sealing may lead to large scale crime, kidnapping, thefts, robberies, murders, terrorism, starvation, prostitution, more slum areas, and a lot of other social problems. The fact must not be ignored that more than 80% population of Delhi depend on these traders and professionals. According to newspapers reporters livelihoods of more than 2.7 million is under threat.

Why are the shops, professional offices, banquet halls, or even schools being closed. Reasoning: They are creating traffic jams. But one mall creates more traffic jams than a whole market of small traders. But nobody is talking about sealing these malls. Why? Nobody is talking about sealing the services of the corrupt persons in the government or the politics. Why?

Press too need to wake up from its new mall culture blindness otherwise it will lose the faith of the common man like the politicians. And I think soul of Mahatma Gandhi may be weeping - a brave jounalist and politician who always faught with wrong and inhuman laws. Our honourable supreme court must stand firmly to save Gandhism as well as the constitutional human rights in India.
