Some days ago media mogul Ramgopal Verma expressed his anguish that Shahrukh Khan is a media-made super star. Most of the people agree with this view. Large section of the media believe in sensationalism. This section rarely tell the truth. Their views are biased, and hardly based on truth. One big lie this section of the media want to throw on people is that Shahrukh Khan is king of acting as well as of Bollywood.
Some time back the same media backed Mallika Sherawat and used its whole might to promote this actress who still needs to learn ABC of acting. The media loved Mallika only due to her body exposure which provided media with the fodder it needed to increase circulation or viewers.
Media love to create hype (mostly based on 0 to 20% truth) to draw the attention of the public. But people are not fool. Ultimately media lose credibility. Readers and viewers just think that most of the TV channels and newspapers are run by bunch of fools. Because they have power and money bags behind them therefore they are able to run the show.
People really get pained to read and listen when the media calls Shahrukh Khan the king of Bollywood while there are young heroes who are giving better hits and performing much better. Media think that by telling lies it can make the people believe that a lie is the real truth.
Most of the viewers or readers want to cry when media show utter foolishness of comparing Shahrukh Khan with Amitabh Bachchan's acting talent. People already know that if Shahrukh know ABC in acting the great Amitabh Bachchan is master of A to Z in acting. The big B is an institution in himself.
Every intelligent person who watched recently 'Don' of Shahrukh Khan actually laughed at the acting talent of this phony Bollywood king. He acted like a child. The old boy still does not know how to act. Even the C grade actors might have acted much better than him. But the foolish media is untiringly promoting Shahrukh Khan as the real super star and even better 'Don'. If Shahrukh Khan gave some hit movies it was only due to big banners, good story line of sound music. Not even a single movie stands on his acting talent.
Before telling the people what the truth is media should learn the habit of knowing and speaking the truth first. Amitabh Bachchan is so great in acting that Shahrukh Khan actually needs several births to match him.
